Split PDF: what it is for

Splitting a PDF lets you send only the part of a long document that matters: one chapter of a book, the signed page of a contract or the invoices of a single client. CruzForge lets you see it before you cut, so you never have to guess page numbers.

If your PDF has rotated or out-of-order pages, the “Organize and rotate” view lets you fix that in the same workspace.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract only some pages from a PDF?

Add the PDF, click “Deselect all” and tap the thumbnails of the pages you want. You can also type the range (for example 2-5, 9). Then click “Extract pages”.

Can I save every page as a separate file?

Yes. Under “Output” choose “One PDF per page (ZIP)”. You get a ZIP with one PDF for each selected page.

Do extracted pages lose quality?

No. Pages are copied without rasterizing: the text remains selectable and searchable.

Can I use the keyboard?

Yes: with the viewer focused, the left and right arrows change page and the space bar keeps or cuts the current page.
