Edit PDF: what it is for

Editing a PDF usually means paid software. With CruzForge you can make the most common changes — fill in a form, add a note, strike out a detail, insert a logo or a signature — right in the browser and without leaving a watermark.

The elements you add are saved as real PDF objects (vector text, lines and images), so the file stays light and sharp at any zoom level.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?

PDFs do not store text the way a Word document does, so the reliable method is to cover it with the Whiteout tool and type over it with Text. For large changes, convert the file with PDF to Word.

Can I use it to fill in forms?

Yes. Click Text and then click where you want to type; use the ✓ and ✗ marks for checkboxes. It even works with scanned forms.

Is the text I add selectable?

Yes, it is saved as vector text, not as an image.

Can I add my signature?

Yes: insert an image of your signature, or use the Sign PDF tool to draw it.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is edited and saved inside your browser.
