PowerPoint to PDF: what it is for
Sharing a presentation as a PDF makes sure it looks the same on any computer or phone, even without PowerPoint. CruzForge reads the .pptx file directly in your browser and draws each slide with its shapes, images and text.
It is ideal for sending lecture notes, sales proposals or reports to clients without worrying about Office versions.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with old .ppt files?
Only with .pptx (PowerPoint 2007 or later). Open the .ppt and save it as .pptx.
Are animations kept?
A PDF cannot hold animations: the final state of each slide is saved.
What is the difference between “Convert to PDF” and “Vector PDF”?
“Convert to PDF” directly produces a PDF with each slide in high resolution. “Vector PDF” opens the print dialog; choosing “Save as PDF” gives you selectable text and perfect sharpness at any zoom.
What about special fonts?
If the presentation uses fonts you don't have installed, they are replaced with similar ones.
