Which format should I choose?
ZIP opens on any computer or phone without extra software. 7Z compresses more, but needs 7-Zip, WinRAR or our extractor to open. TAR.GZ is the standard on Linux.
Do photos and videos shrink much?
No: JPG, MP4 or PDF are already compressed. ZIP and 7Z shine with documents, code or folders with many files.
How do I open a password-protected archive?
